About Caliah Homes
Between the mountains and the sea
Two well-kept homes in Balamban on Cebu's west coast, where the highlands drop down to the Tañon Strait and Negros island fills the horizon.

The best of Cebu's west coast
Caliah Homes sits in Balamban, where Cebu's highlands roll down to the Tañon Strait. Mornings here are slow ones: coffee on the balcony in cool mountain air, a short drive to the beach for a swim, and evenings when the sun drops behind Negros island and Mt. Kanlaon right across the water.
Balamban is also the shipbuilding capital of the Philippines. Tsuneishi builds ocean-going ships just up the road, so you'll share the place with a friendly mix of engineers on assignment, families on staycation, and travelers crossing the island on the Transcentral Highway. The airport is about 3 hours away, and the moment you step out of the car into the west coast air, the drive is forgotten.
We keep two homes here, and comfort is the whole point: proper beds with fresh linens, cold air conditioning after a warm day, hot showers, kitchens you can actually cook in, and genuinely quiet nights. The holiday house suits families and barkadas; the apartelle's four private rooms suit solo travelers, couples, and working guests. Either way, you're looked after like family, not like a booking number.
Cleanliness
Every room is cleaned and inspected personally before you arrive. Fresh linens and spotless bathrooms, every time.
Comfort
Real beds, cold AC, hot showers, and kitchens you can actually cook in. The comforts of home, up in the mountains.
Hospitality
We treat guests the Cebuano way: like family. Need a tricycle, a tour tip, or an early check-in? Just ask.
